Ariana Grande takes out a third week at Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart, Ava Max goes Top 3 with Sweet But Psycho

Ariana Grande has held onto Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart with thank u, next, but she has fresh competition challenging her in the Top 3.

The Floridian’s global smash hit takes out a third week on top, once again outselling Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Shallow at Number 2. At Number 3, rising five places, is Sweet But Psycho by Ava Max. With over 100 million streams worldwide, this breakthrough hit from the rising star is one to watch.

New entries and climbers

There is one new entry in the Top 10 this week, coming from Zara Larsson. Ruin My Life becomes the Swedish vocalist’s fifth Top 10 hit. Jess Glynne is also on the up; Thursday breaks into the Top 20 at Number 20.

James Arthur and Anne-Marie claim this week’s highest new entry at Number 26 with their take on Rewrite The Stars from The Greatest Showman, while Little Mix are not far behind with Strip featuring Sharaya J (32).

Dermot Kennedy’s Power Over Me reaches a new peak of Number 36, while fellow Irish artist Hozier logs a new entry at Number 40 with Movement. Also fresh in the Top 50 is P!nk - A Million Dreams earns its first appearance in the chart at 44.

Happy Now from Kygo ft. Sandro Cavazza makes its inaugural impact at 48, and finally, Ocean Eyes from Billie Eilish closes out the chart at Number 50.
