Ariana Grande has extended the UK leg of her Sweetener world tour, taking her total of UK dates to nine.

The star's global jaunt reaches the UK on August 17 with three shows at London's O2 Arena before heading to Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield.

An extra two dates have been added, both at London's O2 Arena, on October 15 and 16. Tickets for the additional shows go on sale on Friday June 14 at 10am.

London R&B star Ella Mai is supporting the shows as a special guest at all the dates. Ella's self-titled debut album reached Number 5 on the US Billboard chart, and she's scored two hit singles overseas - Boo'd up and Trip. Both peaked just outside the Top 40 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Ariana has lots of new material to play on the road. Since her last tour she's released two albums, chart-topping records Sweetener and Thank U, Next.

The singer also scored three UK Number 1 songs across 2018 - 2019, meaning she joins Elvis, John Lennon and Justin Bieber as the only artists to ever land three Number 1 songs in under 100 days.
