Ariana Grande makes it a month at Number 1, Jess Glynne earns her eighth Top 10 hit on this week’s Official Irish Singles Chart

Billie Eilish has three songs in the Top 50, plus Mariah Carey is back in the chart and there's a new entry for Anne-Marie.

Ariana Grande’s grip on the Official Irish Singles Chart Number 1 is loosening, but she still spends a fourth week at the top with thank u, next.

Ahead of the release of the its official music video, Ariana’s ode to her exes leads the Top 50 once more, less than 300 units ahead of its nearest competition, the song it deposed from the top, Shallow by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper (2).

New entries and high climbers

Billie Eilish continues to ride her current wave of popularity, as When The Party’s Over surfs to a new peak of Number 7. She claims a further two new entries as Come Out And Play and Bellyache swim to 21 and 39 respectively.

Jess Glynne collects her eighth Top 10 hit in Ireland as this week’s highest climber Thursday vaults 10 slots to Number 10, plus James Arthur & Anne-Marie’s collaboration Rewrite The Stars cracks the Top 20 at Number 19. The pair’s respective solo releases Empty Space (34) and Perfect To Me (50) also hit new peaks.

Mo Bamba scores a new personal best for Sheck Wes at Number 25, lifting 10 placings, and finally two Christmas songs return to the Top 50; Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You pops up at 37, and The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl’s former Christmas Number 1 Fairytale of New York occupies Number 49.
