Arctic Monkeys' official visual for Do I Wanna Know? has become the latest music video to surpass one billion views on YouTube.

Released to YouTube exactly seven year ago today on June 19, 2013, the Sheffield rock group joins over 200 music videos to reach the streaming landmark. Do I Wanna Know? is far and away Arctic Monkeys' most popular music video, with their second most-viewed R U Mine currently on 246 million.

Do I Wanna Know? peaked at Number 11 on the Official Singles Chart on release, and has racked up chart sales (downloads and streams combined) of 1.74 million, going BRIT Certified 2x Platinum.

For context, the Top 100 most viewed music videos on the platform have in excess of 2.3 billion views. However, not many British bands have reached 10 digits. Other tracks by UK groups to manage it include Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Coldplay's Hymn For The Weeknd, Paradise and Adventure of A Lifetime.

Arctic Monkeys are just one of 11 acts in history to have all of their studio albums reach Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. View Arctic Monkeys' full UK chart history.
