A special cinematic experience dedicated to Amy Winehouse is hitting the screens next week.

Taking place on what would have been Amy's 35th birthday on September 14, Pitchblack Playback events will take place across the UK, listening sessions of Back to Black completely in the dark.

"To be able to immerse oneself completely in Amy's music will be a very special experience," said Amy's mum Jane, managing trustee of The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

"What a wonderful way to celebrate Amy's legacy, on her birthday and also the 7th anniversary of her Foundation."

Played in full and in the dark in cinema surround sound, Pitchblack Playback events give fans the chance to enjoy music with a heightened sense of hearing, and without any distractions. Tickets are £10, with £1 from each going to The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Back to Black is one of the UK's Top 20 best-selling albums of all-time. The iconic 2006 release has been BRIT certified 13x Platinum and has sold 3.8 million copies, not including streams.
