Adele scores her ninth Top 40 hit in America with Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

Adele's new single leads a string of big climbers on this week's Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Following the premiere of her music video for new single Send My Love (To Your New Lover) during the Billboard Music Awards, the track re-enters the Top 100 at 26, 53 places above its original peak. The song originally charted at 79 when Adele's album 25 was released back in December.

Nick Jonas and Tove Lo's collaboration Close vaults nine places to a new high of 15 while fellow BBMAs performer P!nk's Just Like Fire jumps to a new personal best at 16. The track is P!nk's 20th Top 20 in the US.

At the very top of the chart, Drake's One Dance holds at Number 1 for a third non-consecutive week, Desiigner's Panda holds steady at 2 and former chart-topper Can't Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake is static at 3. Fifth Harmony's Work from Home and The Chainsmokers' Don't Let Me Down help both groups reach new career bests, climbing to 4 and 5 respectively.

Over on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman debuts at Number 2. With Drake's Views still on the top spot, being this week's runner-up brings Ariana's unbroken run of chart toppers to an end; previous collections Yours Truly and My Everything both hit Number 1.

The Voice US coach Blake Shelton is the second highest new entry at 3 with Honest with Beyonce's Lemonade (4) and Rihanna's Anti (5) rounding out the Top 5.
