Adele lands straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Irish Singles Chart with her new single Easy On Me, outperforming the rest of the Top 5 combined.

The track, which heads up Adele’s forthcoming album 30, is the star’s fourth chart-topper in Ireland, following Someone Like You (2011), Skyfall (2012), and Hello (2015).

Adele’s comeback has send fans back to her catalogue this week, leading to two more of her songs landing in the Top 50 – When We Were Young at 19, and Love In The Dark (both from 2015's 25 album) at 24.

Last week’s Number 1, Ed Sheeran’s Shivers, drops to 3 after five weeks at the summit, while Lil Nas X’s That’s What I Want rises two places to new peak at 4.

Two songs enter the Top 10 for the first time this week: Becky Hill & Topic’s My Heart Goes (La Di Da) jumps from 11 to Number 8, and Coldplay & BTS’ My Universe zooms from 17 to Number 10. Following the release of Coldplay’s new album Music Of The Spheres, the band land a second entry in the Top 50 with Selena Gomez collaboration Let Somebody Go at 25.

Further down, Westlife are new at 29 with their brand-new single Starlight, their 32nd Top 50 hit, and finally, Lisa from K-pop girl group Blackpink enters at 44 with Money.
