Adele earns her sixth US Top 10 single with Send My Love

Adele's new track has sent her into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 for the sixth time in her career.

Send My Love (To Your New Lover) has hopped up two spots to Number 10, and follows fellow Top 10 single Skyfall and her four US Number 1 singles Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You, Set Fire To The Rain and Hello.

Billboard also reports that Adele is only the fourth ever artist to have a Top 10 single featuring the word Send, others being Elvis Presley's Return to Sender, Send One Your Love by Stevie Wonder and Linear's Sending All My Love.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Drake hits Number 1 for a 10th week, proving it's not just the UK where he is hitting double figures, and Sia's Cheap Thrills climbs from 5 to 3, a career best placing for the Australian songstress.

twenty one pilots' Ride also jumps up the Top 10, from 8 to 6 and outside of the top flight, Shawn Mendes' Treat You Better gains ground, rising from 35 to 20. Finally, Fifth Harmony and Fetty Wap's All In My Head (Flex) floats from 37 to 29.

Over on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Drake returns to Number 1 for a 10th week with Views, and ScHoolBoy Q's Blank Face LP is new at 2, the fifth album halting at the runner-up position behind Drizzy.
