A Quiet Place is loud and proud at the top of today's Official Video Chart Update.

A midweek glance at DVD and Blu-ray sales prior to Sunday's final Official Video Chart, today's Update is led by the sci-fi horror starring real life married couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.

Sales of 22,000 across the last three days put it at pole position, but with only a gap of a couple of thousand units, Sunday's top spot is all to play for. Also in the running is Ready Player One, last week's chart topper; the Steven Spielberg movie shifted 106,000 copies to claim the Number 1.

Former Number 1s Peter Rabbit (3) and The Greatest Showman (4) tumble a place each, while the same fate falls to Pacific Rim: Uprising (5), which previously hit a high of Number 2.

New entries and high climbers

Mamma Mia! is heading for a fourth week inside the Top 10 of 2018, up two to Number 9, plus Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle is up five to Number 10, ahead of Dwayne Johnson's next DVD release Rampage next Monday (August 20).

Finally, there a further two new entries vying for a Top 40 place. Action/adventure Mohawk is at Number 23, and The Blacklist: Complete Fifth Season occupies the Number 26 slot.
