50 Cent announces three UK tour dates

The rapper will play three shows in the UK this November.

Get ready to party like it's your birthday... because 50 Cent is going on tour!

Following his one-off gig in London last week (July 17), the rapper has announced three UK arena shows in November this year; in Glasgow (Nov 4), Manchester (Nov 6) and Newcastle (Nov 7).

“The O2 Arena was crazy," he said of last Friday's gig. "UK fans have some of the most amazing energy, which is why I can't wait to come back to the UK in November."

The news comes after it was revealed last week that 50 Cent had filed for bankruptcy; something he described as a "strategic business move" that would allow him to "continue his involvement with various business interests and continue his work as an entertainer".

To date, the star has notched up 20 Top 40 singles and 7 Top 40 albums in the UK, including 2005's chart-topping record The Massacre.

Tickets for the gigs go on a 48-hour presale on Wednesday, July 22 and general sale on Friday, July 24.
