Three big new releases are competing for this week’s highest new entry on the Official Singles Chart.

This year’s X Factor champion Matt Terry is expected to make a big splash with his winner’s single When Christmas Comes Around. Penned by Ed Sheeran, the song will make its first impact on tomorrow’s sales flash (December 13) following its release late last night. (More details to follow tomorrow.)

Matt faces competition from Taylor Swift and Zayn’s brand new track I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, which opens at Number 5 on today’s Official Chart Update following its release last Friday (December 9). The song is taken from the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker film, which will hit cinemas in February 2017.

Louis Tomlinson’s debut solo single Just Hold On also makes a strong start on this week’s midweek Top 40, entering at Number 21 after just one full day on sale (versus three full days for other releases). The One Direction singer released the track on Saturday evening after an emotional performance during The X Factor final, which he dedicated to his late mother Johannah Deakin. The track is expected to scale the chart over the coming days.

Clean Bandit’s Rockabye continues to lead the way at Number 1 on today’s update, followed by Rag’n’Bone Man’s Human, which leaps six places to Number 2.

Further down, J Cole lands at Number 34 with Déjà vu, the highest of eight new entries from his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only currently inside the Top 100, and Lady Gaga’s Million Reasons could find itself in the Top 40 this Friday, currently up 20 places to 40.

Louis from 1D releasing a new song? Bet it'll be just as bad as Zayn's and Niall's solo stuff and not that I care but when is Harry Styles releasing his first solo song?

Rockabye STILL set to be number 1? What a load of , it's gonna become the new One Dance, hopefully Human will prevent it, it's not great but it's probably the best song in the top 10 at the moment. It'll NEVER hit number 1 due to it being a rock song though

I actually thought Taylor and Zayn or Louis would be No.1 so far. I love both their songs but I'm personally rooting for Taylor and Zayn, I like their song better.

I think it isn't number 1 because it's not on spotify. But the song is amazing and deserves to be high on the charts!
