He’s managed an impressive 15 weeks at Number 1, but it looks like Drake’s reign over the Official Singles Chart with One Dance could finally come to end this week.

It’s taken three acts to muscle him out from the top spot: Major Lazer, Justin Bieber and MØ with their new single Cold Water, which takes an early lead on the chart following its release last Friday.

Drake’s One Dance has taken a dramatic tumble to Number 5 on today’s Official Chart Update, behind Jonas Blue’s Perfect Strangers (2), Chainsmokers’ Don’t Let Me Down (3) and Calum Scott’s Dancing On My Own (4).

Drake’s fall could mean he misses out on matching record for the most consecutive weeks at Number 1, held by Bryan Adams’ (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, which logged 16 weeks at the top in 1991.

New entries and high climbers

Bastille are on track for a big climb this week with Good Grief, currently up nine spots to Number 15, and Snakehips and Zayn’s Cruel leaps seven places to 31.

Finally, singer-songwriter Anne-Marie could be making her Top 40 debut this Friday with Alarm, which zooms 19 places to 34, and twenty one pilots’ Heathens bounces back up six spots to 39.

i wanted drake to have the longest number one its only his second number one ever and you have to admit he deserves more but then adele has only had 2 number ones and if jb can hold back ADELE then drake dosent stand a chance a chance i would also like to add that mo is a great addition to the song preventing it from being boring and repetitive and builds up a great bridge to finish off the song aswell as being a good back up vocalist and that major lazers beat backs up justin without being to edm or pop and that really all three of them deserve credit for the great track and for the laaaaaast time believers ITS NOT JUSTIN'S SONG

About time someone poured cold water on Drake's stint at the top.

I hate the new Bastille song. And Anne-Marie's song too. Major Lazer's new one is....ok.

Yes! Cold Water is a whole lot better than One Dance, so go for that #1 spot!

Cheers to not having 16 weeks of the same bland song at No.1! I hope Labrinth returns with some tunes but he's talent that the world hasn't given a No.1 to in 4 years which is a shame because Let it Be was a TUNE!!!

His slow stuff is actually really good.... It's just his synths are mind-blowing.

I won't believe it until the new chart is released. But it is looking promising since Drake is currently at 5 as opposed to 2 like he was in all other mid-week updates. Guess the streamers have moved onto the next thing for Drake to be down at 5.

I'll beileve it when I see it! Many times in last 15 weeks One Dance has been written off midweek and comeback to top the chart for another week!

Never have I liked Justin Beiber more! If anyone was gonna knock that stupid One Dance song off top spot it would be him! It also means we can keep a decent artist and decent song as the remaining record holder for the most consecutive weeks at number 1. Bryan Adams forever!

FINALLY! One Dance obviously won't top the chart since it's currently a number 5. Plus, Bieber's fans stream his singles a lot, so it will definitely debut at #1 and be Bieber's fourth chart-topper single.

When This Girl was set to hit 1 for the first timeOne Dance was set to drop to like 4 or 5 though...

Indeed. Bieber was doing a Drake at the end of last year / beginning of this, but it was spread over multiple songs.
