Maximo Park's album is the best album of the week.
Sheppard is in second place, fantastic third album.
This metal trash from Architects is awful.

Where's the full chart?

Anyway, good to see Your Love moving closer to the Top 10.

I have the unfortunate feeling that Streets and Save Your Tears are both going to miss out.

We desperately need a new Number 1 soon. Eight weeks!

Nice chart for the 0001 year

Now, please, I love Drivers License, but we need a new #1 now

A 1 January 0001 dated chart? It's official, 'Drivers License' was #1 when Jesus was born! 😂

😂😂😂😂😂

I can’t wait for Jesus’s debut single though, “Resurrection”, should be good 👍

I was thinking 'The Lord's Prayer' for #1 next week, haha. :)

Oaft, God himself will be a true contender 😆

Mufasa gets Top 5 What a way to end this week!!

avatar

Piran

2

Not that I’m complaining about the song itself, but ‘Drivers License’ desperately needs to drop from #1 soon! I really don’t want this one to become overexposed, given how much I liked it when it first came out.

I’m still convinced that ‘Wellerman’ will be the song to replace it, but I think ‘Bed’ is going to become massive & challenge it before too long!

… but wait, hold on a minute, ‘Don’t Play’ didn’t rebound, so like 80% of the comments here are probably getting reported by you-know-who again! 🤡

avatar

⁉️

2

Drake is coming before Wellerman. 🤭

avatar

Piran

1

Really... more Drake? :P

Oh well, at least it means a new #1, haha.

avatar

⁉️

2

Yeah, he dropped a 3 song EP last night.

The best song on it was Lemon Pepper Freestyle, but What’s Next is the single.

P

PN

1

Although, considering Life is Good didn't actually make top 2 when it should have been number 1, we might not see it. But we'll see

avatar

⁉️

Life Is Good was a Future song to be fair. :)

P

PN

1

Doesn't matter who's the main artist - if Drake is on it, it's heading top 10 at the very least :)

avatar

Yeah, to be honest.

Apart from the amazing Twist and Turn. :(

'What's Next' might be #1 next week then! :O

So pleased Tom Grennan has made the Top 40 with "A Little Bit Of Love" at No32.
I also like the new single "Hero" by Arlo Parks from the brilliant new album "Collapsed In Sunbeams" which reached No3 a few weeks ago.
I'm also getting into the new single from Sophie and the Giants called "Right Now".
I also like Sam Fender who had a NO1. album in September 2019 with " Hypersonic ".
Why can't Arlo Parks, Sophie and the Giants, Sam Fender and Celeste just naming a few have a Top 40 Single when Celeste, Sam Fender have had a No1 album and Arlo Parks a No3 album.

Modern Pop Chart Music isn't real music.
The LegendaryElton John believes proper songs have become too sophisticated for the charts.
Proper songs have become too sophisticated for the mainstream.
You look at most of the records in the charts they're not real songs they're not real songs they're bits and pieces and it's nice to hear someone write a proper song.
I like people who write songs and there's plenty of people that do but a lot of them don't get played on the radio because they're too sophisticated and we get songs made by a computer all the time and I'm not interested in that.
I totally agree with him.
Really hope Rag'n'Boneman can make The Top 40 this week, currently No75 a joke.

Surprised not to see any Daft Punk songs make it back into the top 100 based on streaming alone; their numbers have shot up following the announcement 💔

A couple of EDM opinions to add to the discussion here - I'd love to see Paul Woolford's latest single HEAT reach the top 40 after debuting in at 65, its fast becoming one of my favourite releases of his. Joel Corry's latest release would also be one I'd really hope to see enter the charts next week, I actually prefer it to Head & Heart so it would be great if it would reach the top spot again. And, while its great to see another EDM release go big, I'm really not a fan of Believe Me at all and I can't see it growing on me like Get Out My Head did.

Also due to their Spotify being hacked and a different song being released under their name, I don't think 'JLS - Time' should be in the Top 100 at all - it should be listed under the songs actual name if it's going to be featured to draw some attention to the actual artists, even if I'm not a fan at all.

Kind of surprised that Wellerman is down from last week.

Friday climbing to a new peak makes up for at least.

Save Your Tears just needs to get one place higher! 🤞

I don't think Save your tears will be as big as Blinding lights though

Oh definitely. The former should go Top 10 though.
