Next week is the last official chart that will have a worthwhile show to go along with it. Come on BBC, get a grip and keep playing the top 40 in full. If you don't want it, move aside and let someone else broadcast it!

Unfortunately by any standards, particularly of an artist that is used to multi platinum albums, Femme Fatale was a flop. One week in the top ten and only just managing to be certified silver (60,000 sales) is not anything to shout about. Although compared to Britney Jean, not that was a stinker and a monumental flop.

Is this chart the official official chart the recognizes #1's or is it Billboard that does that in the UK. In the states and Canada it's Billboard that gives them the official status.

Billboard has nothing to do with the UK charts. The Official Charts Company compiles the charts and The British Phonographic Industry certifies sales awards.
