There is no such thing as Layla 1982 it was actually a reissue single from 1970 and that same version is listed on Time Peices 1982 album as Layla 1970.

But then again there was a tinny version called Layla Remastered which sounds different because of the tinny treble done to it which makes it virtually like a 1982 version but it isn't it's 1970 again with a treble change.

Eric Clapton version what the 1982 is officially known as on the album Derek and the Dominoes 1970 again.

There was never more than one version.

They're not calling it Layla 1982, It's Layla {1982} as in re-release / re-issue. I bought this single in 1982, it's Derek & The Dominos - Layla on Side A and Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight on the B-side.

There was a second version, the acoustic one, but of course that wasn't until a lot later. This track was on the 1970 album and then a hit single in 1972 reaching #7 but in 1982 it may have had a different record label catalogue number making it a "re-issue" compared to the 1972-charting version. Not sure it was even re-mastered.

No 73. The label of Ritz RITZ 012 shows the title is 'I Will Love You (Everytime When We Are Gone)'.

There is also a label variation which shows 'I WILL LOVE YOU' as in OCC's listing.
