Hoping for a Stone Roses #1 Very unlikely but top #5 would still be pretty awesome.

Mildly interesting Swedish song enters at 47, while Australia's stunning Eurovision entry only gets to 81?
What's wrong with people?

#40 is still great placing for the lads Joe&Jake! Happy for their success :)
I was expecting much higher place than #81 for Dami Im to be honest
considering her pretty big success in the EuroVision few days ago.
I guess that the main reason that her song is not doing much better on the UK charts
might be because ''Sound Of Silence'' is a boring song to listen to, let alone to buy.

Only "If I Were Sorry," "Sound of Silence" and "You're Not Alone" in the chart? Not so much Eurovision love...

How many more esc songs did you really expect to enter in the uk charts this year??
This EuroVision didn't have many great/good songs that stood out
so it makes perfectly sense about why just only 3 songs made the cut.

That´s true. There are always at least 1 or 2 songs that make me think they are going to win the Eurovision song contest. This year there were none. I remember back in 2000 something like Greece "You are the one you´re my number one", I loved it before I even knew it was in the ESC and it won. Then there were Sweden, Loreen and mans Zelmerlöw. I was sure they are going to win and they did but....nothing this year. A very tough call. Anyone with me??

Hope that 'If I Were Sorry' can creep into the Top 40 by Friday - we really need some Eurovision in the charts
