sadly adele's 25 will return to the top spot next week and 1975's album will fall back, her album is hogging up the top 5 way too much, coldplay couldn't even have their album be number 1 without it being pushed back next week by her album which kept it off the top spot in the first dam place

it could also be that coldplay are not very good.

for a band that has been going since 1999 and are still getting number one albums in the face of newer contemporary artist's i wouldn't say they are "not very good" and i don't see how that could make adele's 25 album hover in the top five for too long, i was just stating my frustration at her album hogging up the top 5 for a long time as i'm not a fan personally I find her voice utterly whiney and annoying and i think Hello is the most overrated song in modern times she uses the power ballad trick with super original chorus lines on most of her song's and she seems a bit full of herself these days, but that is my opinion i respect anyone's right to like her music and her, coldplay however i think have done very well for themselves, they have adapted to the times brilliantly

I wonder or I´m waiting for the first album to break 1000 weeks on the chart! It´s going to be a milestone for some artist/group. Queen is closing in and ABBA´s even closer. wonder which of those two will break that magic number! How is Pink Floyd`s Dark Side Of The Moon? Anyone?

Tried to post the long runners for the Top 100 but yet again it has to be approved by OCC.

How long will that take (roughly) to get approval? Out of curiosity.

Usually they don't approve it. They once told me they couldn't see the problem but it happens for the top 75 every week and often for the Top 100 :(

Thanks very much. I've always been interested in the long runners because to me it really shows who the greats are, rather than just "a flash in the pan"
