It's not long until the Hyundai Mercury Prize rolls on around again for 2017, and this year's awards is expected to be a huge night. Now, we're giving you a piece of the action.

We have three prize bundles to give away, with three lucky winners each receiving a CD copy of each of this year's shortlisted albums. That's 12 critically acclaimed LPs to broaden your musical horizons.

The albums recognised this year are: alt-J – Relaxer; Blossoms – Blossoms; Dinosaur – Together, As One; Ed Sheeran – ÷; Glass Animals – How to Be a Human Being; J Hus – Common Sense; Kate Tempest – Let Them Eat Chaos; Loyle Carner – Yesterday's Gone; Sampha – Process; Stormzy – Gang Signs & Prayer; The Big Moon – Love in the 4th Dimension; The xx – I See You.

Amongst the shortlisted are four Number 1 albums from Stormzy, Blossoms, The xx and Ed Sheeran (the latter of which is the third fastest-selling album of all time), and a further six of the records hit the Official Albums Chart Top 40.

Taking place on September 14 at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, 11 of the 12 nominated acts have been confirmed to perform at the event, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Four. Touring commitments leave Ed Sheeran unable to make the event.

More information about this year's artists and their albums can be found in our in-depth analysis here, and you can find out who this year's judges are who will decide this year's winner.
