Hello and welcome to your shiny new OfficialCharts.com!

You may notice that we've had a bit of a makeover. It's been many months in the making, but the time has finally come for us to jangle our new set of keys excitedly and get this show on the road!

We’re easier to navigate, we look nicer on your phone and – drum roll please – our new Official Chart archive now provides you with more than 62 years of chart history at your fingertips.

For you chart geeks out there, that’s over 35,000 charts and 16,000 dedicated artist hubs. We know the success of your favourite artists matters, so now you can discover at-a-glance Official Chart career stats for every act ever charted, RE-CRUNCHED WEEKLY! We believe it’s a world-first in terms of its functionality and best of all, access to it is completely free.

Want to find out what was Number 1 on your birthday? Remembered a forgotten classic and itching to check out its full chart history? Want to find out how many years on the trot Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You has entered the chart, its week-by-week chart runs and peaks? It’s all in there and waiting to be discovered. If you're not sure where to begin, read our handy guide to exploring the archive. So, what are you waiting for? Go and get stuck in!

Elsewhere on the site, expect to find more exclusive news, interviews and amazing daily #ChartFacts guaranteed to make you sound quite clever down the pub...on Twitter...wherever. All of it can be found under the News tab on the top menu bar.

It’s been a truly mammoth effort from the whole Official Charts HQ team, and our extended family of chart consultants and digital wizards, Draw. We’re really keen to hear your feedback, so please drop us a line at feedback@officialcharts.com and let us know what you think.

This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a fantastic and invaluable resource for fans, students, record collectors, chart watchers, journalists and historians; celebrating both the rich heritage and bright future of the UK's Official Charts - the only charts that count.
