Those keen on keeping on top of the weekly #NewMusicFriday playlists may well have noticed a couple of weeks ago that one song heavily featured was Call Me Over by Welsh duo Dusky Grey.
Since then, the track - a lilting, subtly catchy pop number - has been played one million times across all streaming services, and tomorrow it will be added to Radio 1's playlist as the BBC Introducing track of the week.
The accompanying music video, premiered below, is a colourful and trippy depiction of an intense relationship. In their own words:“The song is basically about acknowledging that someone is bad for you and taking the necessary steps to rid yourself of who you feel may be toxic. And with that finding the people who become your support system." Watch below:
Dusky Grey are quickly finding their feet; their independently-released debut single Told Me has been streamed over nine million times worldwide. Since then, they've teamed up with East West/Warner Music Group for the release of Call Me Over.
