After celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, 'Achtung Baby', earlier this month, U2 have revealed that they’re working on not one, not two, but three new album with producer RedOne (Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Cher Lloyd).

“We've done some amazing work with RedOne,” said lead singer Bono. “It's shocking. I just played the tracks to [former REM frontman] Michael Stipe. He was like, 'What?!' It doesn't sound like U2!'.”

“At first we went into this record with a bit of a sketchpad mentality,” bassist Adam Clayton told Q magazine. “We thought there was more material left over from [2009 album] ‘No Line On The Horizon’. We now feel a long way from that material. We don't want to go back there. We experimented on working with RedOne and some very good pop songs and club-y things came out of that.”
