Troublemaker Olly Murs to keep Girls Aloud off Number 1
Olly Murs’ new single, Troublemaker FT Flo Rida, looks set to keep Girls Aloud off Number 1 on Sunday.
The X Factor star turned Xtra Factor host’s latest track is currently outselling Girls Aloud’s comeback single, Something New (Number 2), by nearly 28,000 copies according to today’s Official Singles Chart Update.
Olly currently has three chart topping singles to his name (2010’s Please Don’t Get Me Go, and 2011’s Heart Skips A Beat FT Rizzle Kicks and Dance With Me Tonight), and if Troublemaker holds onto his lead, he will equal Girls Aloud’s Number 1s tally of four.
One Direction’s Little Things is down two places to Number 3, while Alicia Keys’ Girl On Fire looks set to debut at Number 4. This week’s Official Singles Chart Update Top 5 is completed by Labrinth’s Beneath Your Beautiful FT Emeli Sande (Number 5).
