Transformers - The Last Knight is shapeshifting its way to Number 1 on this week's Official Video Chart

The latest instalment of the sci-fi action film franchise is set to claim this week's best-selling DVD/Blu-ray.

Transformers - The Last Knight is set to claim this week's best-selling DVD/Blu-ray in the UK. 

The fifth instalment in the sci-fi action film franchise has sold 53,000 copies in the first three days since its release and is bound for Number 1 on the Official Video Chart. 

Three of the previous four Transformers films have reached Number 1 in the UK; Transformers (2007), Revenge Of The Fallen (2009) and Age of Extinction (2014). 2011's Dark of the Moon peaked at Number 2. 

Meanwhile, last week's Number 1 - Tom Cruise's The Mummy - slips to 2, and Fast & Furious 8 is at Number 3.  

Two more new home entertainment releases are on track to make a Top 10 debut; romantic drama My Cousin Rachel is at 8 just shy of 5,000 sales, and British drama Hampstead starring Diane Keaton is currently at Number 9. 

Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez On Me starts at Number 11 (check out his Top 10 biggest singles on the Official Chart here), comedy horror Hocus Pocus zooms up nine places to 13 as fans revisit the classic at  Halloween, and animated superhero film Batman vs Two Face lands at 14. 

Further down, thriller The Villianess (25), psychological horror It Comes At Night  (28) and Transformers - 5 Movie Collection box set (36) are all on course to finish inside this week's Official Video Chart Top 40.

Their final placings will be announced on this week's Official Video Chart on Sunday, November 5 at 7pm. Check out the latest Top 100 here
