Tiggi Hawke’s Neon Dancer gets trippy, fluorescent music video: Premiere

The rising star is from London's Tileyard stable of acts, home to Sigala and Ella Eyre.

If elegant electronic pop in the vein of Ellie Goulding/Little Boots/Salt Ashes is your thing, then chances are you'll be into newbie Tiggi Hawke.

She's fairly fresh out of the gate, having put out her first release - an EP called Burn Notice - last summer, but the collection has already earned her a sizeable following. She's signed to Tileyard Music, a label and creative community that includes Mark Ronson, Basement Jaxx and Chase & Status and is behind acts such as Ella Eyre and Sigala.

A few weeks ago Tiggi released a new track called Neon Dancer, which builds on the sound of Burn Notice but packs a weightier punch that'll no doubt get her noticed. The song is produced by Lewis Gardner, who some of you might remember from Scottish indie-pop band Prides.

We've premiered Neon Dancer's accompanying music video below, and we're pleased to report that the clip features lots of neon paint and fluorescent lighting. Sometimes the best are the simplest ones, aren't they?

One other important thing the video throws up is Tiggi's excellent logo, which as you know, is the cornerstone of any good popstar.

Neon Dancer is out now.
