This week's new music releases: Zayn, Nick Jonas, Birdy, more

This week see's the release of Zayn's debut album Mind Of Mine. The former One Direction singer's first solo collection includes the Number 1 single Pillowtalk, as well as recently-released tracks It's You, Like I Would and Befour.

Zayn faces competition from Birdy this week, who puts out her third album Beautiful Lies. The record includes the single Keeping Your Head Up and follows 2013's Number 8-peaking Fire Within. Will she find herself achieving a personal best on next week's Official Albums Chart?

Elsewhere, '80s US band The Go-Gos and British group Status Quo are releasing a series of collector's editions of their biggest albums, and The Script are issuing their first three albums on vinyl.

Big tracks released this week include Nick Jonas' brand new single Close. The song, which features Tove Lo, heads up his forthcoming album Last Year Was Complicated, which follows in June.

Meanwhile, French singer-songwriter Petite Meller has teamed up with Pnau for her new track Lil Love, and Meghan Trainor, Katy B and Fifth Harmony all release teasers from their upcoming records.
