Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows is on course to make it a one-two at the top of the list of biggest selling videos of 2011, according to the latest Official Charts Company data.

With four weeks to go until the end of the year, the final book in JK Rowling's wizard series is already on course to claim first place in the Official Video Chart of 2011, with the first instalment movie having sold 2.42m copies to date. But, the second instalment, which went straight to the top of the Official Video Chart last week, is looking set to leap into second place by the year end.

After selling 1.18m in its first week, by the end of this week it may already have equalled or surpassed the year's second biggest seller, The King's Speech, which is currently on 1.6m copies. Aside from the latest Transformers movie, Dark Of The Moon, there are a string of other big titles which are set to compete for a place in the year-end Top 10, including Captain America and The Hangover II (which were released this week), and a trio of blockbusters which hit the racks next week - The Inbetweeners Movie, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and Super 8.

The Official Video Chart is compiled for the video industry by the Official Charts Company, incorporating UK sales of all physical video formats, including DVD, Blu-Ray and VHS. You can view the weekly video chart, updated every week, here.
