The Green Lantern to top the Official Video Chart

‘The Green Lantern’ is on course to become the Official Number One video this Sunday, outselling the closest rival by more than 10%.

The 12A movie, which is based on the classic DC comics story, is on course to top 100,000 sales in its opening week, in a chart which is heavily influenced by half-term-targeted video titles.

While ‘Green Lantern’ is set to pip ‘Scared Shrekless’ to the Number 1 spot, other titles such as ‘Tangled’, ‘Spooky Buddies’, ‘Thor’ and ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’, in and around the Top 10.

This coming Monday is also set to see the release of further half-term-friendly titles including ‘X-Men: First Class’ and Series 4 of ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’.
