Sam Smith debuts video for new track – and it’s a tear-jerker!

Ahead of his single, Stay With Me, charting this weekend, Sam Smith has released the video for Leave Your Lover.

British singer/songwriter Sam Smith has unveiled the video for Leave Your Lover, lifted from his upcoming debut album, In The Lovely Hour, which will be released in the UK on Monday (May 26).

The video for the beautiful ballad sees Sam hanging out with his friends, including model Daisy Lowe, and was directed by Luke Monaghan (ASAP Rocky, Disclosure, Eliza Doolittle).

"I'm very proud of the [Leave Your Lover] video" Sam explained, "[I] had so much fun making it and hope people love it as much as I do."

On Wednesday (May 21) OfficialCharts.com revealed that 22 year-old Sam is set to top the Official Singles Chart with current single, Stay With Me, this weekend. If Stay With Me manages to nab the top spot, Sam will claim his second solo, and third overall, Number 1.
