Rita Ora's new album finally has a release date, at least, we think it does.

After numerous delays spanning four years, Rita's sophomore LP, and follow-up to her chart-topping 2012 debut ORA, is pencilled in for November.

After alluding to a spring release date earlier this year, Glamour Magazine Germany then reported that the album was being rolled out in the autumn. Now, we have further clarification from Rita herself.

Rita told DIRECTV: "I think my fans can just expect tears, blood, sex, rock and roll, and the fulfilment of it finally happening! November is when I’m putting it out, because it’s my birthday month."

The Anywhere singer continues: "It’s been a journey! Sadly, it’s not really been positive. I’ve just had to fight so hard for this album in so many ways!"

A journey is an understatement. A breakdown in her relationship with Calvin Harris in 2014 reportedly led to all of the songs he had produced for the project to be pulled, and then Rita entered a legal battle with her then-record label Roc Nation shortly afterwards.

Rita has confirmed that she has worked with production gods Stargate and top songwriters Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter on the record, plus Coldplay's Chris Martin.

It's not all bad news for Rita however. She recently tied Shirley Bassey and Petula Clark as the British female solo artist with the most UK Top 10 hits on the Official Singles Chart. Her latest tracks Your Song, Anywhere, Lonely Together, For You and Girls are all expected to feature on her upcoming collection.
