Rihanna Works up her 14th Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, overtakes Michael Jackson's chart record

The star overtakes Michael Jackson's tally of chart-toppers in the country.

Rihanna has work work work work work worked her way up to the top of this week's Billboard Hot 100, scoring her 14th Number 1 in America. 

The track rises from 4 to 1 on the tally, giving her the third-most US Number 1 singles of all time. Rihanna overtakes Michael Jackson's 13 US chart-toppers, and now only sits behind Mariah Carey (18) and The Beatles (20).

Work notched up 119,000 downloads and 25.8 million streams to take the top spot from Justin Bieber's Love Yourself, which slips to 2 this week. 

Meanwhile, Twenty One Pilots' Stressed Out is at 3, Sorry slides to 4, and Flo Rida's My House completes the Top 5. 

Zayn's Pillowtalk rebounds from 7 to 6, and Joe Jonas' new band DNCE enter the Top 10 at 10 with their debut hit Cake By The Ocean.

Further down, Charlie Puth's One Call Away ascends from 15 to 12, Adele's When We Were Young moves six spots to 14, and current UK Number 1 from Lukas Graham 7 Years leaps from 35 to 20.

On the Billboard 200 album chart, Adele's 25 returns to the top spot following her appearance at the Grammys for a ninth non-consecutive week at Number 1.

Justin Bieber's Purpose rebounds 5 to 2, Rihanna's ANTi holds at 3, Joey + Rory's Hymns debuts at 4, and Chris Stapleton's Traveller shoots from 11 to 5 following his Grammy win for Best Country Album. 

Other Grammy winners/performers that have seen a boost on the album chart are The Weeknd's Beauty Behind The Madness (up six places to 6), and Taylor Swifts 1989 (up 12 spots to 8).

shes only made this record because of all the little 9 yr old girls on their itunes running the charts. she probably wrote it in a second, and watch all the billions coming into her bank account. Michael Jackson will always be the king of music.
