Paloma Faith has revealed she plans to release new music "very soon".

The London singer-songwriter took a short break from music after giving birth last December, and it seems her return is now imminent.

Paloma shared an image of herself at a (baby-sized, cute) piano with the caption: "New music coming very soon I am proud to announce!"

Quite how soon we're not sure, but it's good to know it's on the horizon, right?

Paloma released her last album, A Perfect Contradiction, in 2014. The record was a huge success, peaking at Number 2 and logging 66 weeks in the Top 40. To date, the album has shifted 766,000.

The record helped her win Best British Female at the Brit Awards in 2015, where she gave a moving speech, saying: "It’s been a long time coming. It’s taken me fourteen years to stand up here and accept this award and it means so much to me."

While we wait for new Paloma music, look back at her complete Official Chart history so far, including four Top 10 singles.
