OMI’s Cheerleader scores Number 1 hat-trick

The summer anthem holds onto the top spot for a third week.

OMI’s Cheerleader has pipped midweek leader LunchMoney Lewis’ Bills to the Number 1 spot at the final hurdle.

Despite trailing Bills - which is this week’s highest new entry and the most purchased track of the week – midweek, Cheerleader lands just over 11,000 combined chart sales ahead at the final whistle.

Cheerleader also takes the title of the most streamed track of the week, racking up nearly 3.16 million listens over the last seven days. Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again FT Charlie Puth (3) and Major Lazer’s Lean On FT MO and DJ Snake (5) have both also been streamed over 2 million times this week.

Swedish production duo Galantis’ Runaway (U & I) (4) marks the second and final new entry in today’s Top 5.

New entries

There is just one further new entry in today’s Official Singles Chart Top 40.

David Guetta’s collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, Hey Mama, climbs 30 places today to makes its Top 40 debut at Number 17. The track first entered the Top 100 last month at Number 98.
