Facebook follower Ian Baird can’t get enough of Let Loose’s feel-good Friday classic Crazy For You, a track that has also been very enthusiastically requested by the lovely Lucy who works on the operations team here at Official Charts HQ too!

Who are we to get in your way, guys and gals. Here goes…

Let Loose – Crazy For You

Formed in London in 1993, Let Loose enjoyed minor success with their first two singles – Crazy For You and Seventeen, which both peaked at Number 44 on the Official Singles Chart. However, after being re-issued a year later, Crazy For You broke into the Top 10, peaking at Number 2 and finished the year as the eighth bestselling single of 1994.

Lucy says: “Crazy For You takes me straight back to finishing high school. Me and my best friend spent practically the whole summer at radio roadshows up and down the country.

"One weekend we went to one in the Oxford area and I remember we watched Let Loose perform their set in the most crammed tent ever. The crowd sang along at the tops of their voices to the final song, Crazy For You. TUNE! My friend and I were lucky enough to be invited backstage (which was actually just a car park!), we were that excited to be hanging out with the band (and getting a very welcome bear hug from lead singer Richie!) that we didn’t even bat an eyelid as Byker Grove’s PJ & Duncan said 'Hello'.

"Little did we know that PJ & Duncan would actually go on to become hugely successful household TV stars, Ant & Dec. D’oh!"

Here’s Let Loose for your pleasure. Our favourite bit has got to be 2min 30 secs, SURELY one of pop’s greatest climaxes?! Clench those fists now 'I feel, that you know, you've got me JUST…… JUST. WHERE. YOU. WANT. ME. I’m craaaaazy, crazy for you!'

Awesome.
