We’re counting down the days until Christmas with our virtual Official Charts Advent Calendar featuring the Number 1 singles of 2011!

On paper, today’s digital treat could be really festive. It involves the words ‘Noel’ (an alternative word for Christmas first introduced in the 14th century) and ‘Sak’ (a misspelling of an implement that Father Christmas will be using to deliver all your presents later tonight). Never mind then, that it actually refers to a DJ / producer from Catalonia; it is of course Sak Noel with ‘Loca People’.

‘Loca People’ topped the Official Singles Chart on September 25, and sold over 75,000 copies in its first week on sale. To date it has shifted over 248,000 copies to date.
