For Day 15 of our Advent countdown, we look back at Cheryl’s Call My Name.
Call My Name was the first single to be taken from Cheryl’s third solo album, A Million Lights. Written and produced by Calvin Harris, the track debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart on June 17 of this year.
During its first week of sale, Call My Name shifted over 152,000 copies and became the then fastest selling single of 2012. It held onto this record for six months before being over taken by X Factor winner James Arthur’s Impossible.To date, Call My Name has sold 417,000 copies, making it the 31st biggest selling single of 2012 so far.
