Official Charts Advent Calendar 2012: Day 11 - Rita Ora R.I.P.

The countdown to Christmas is well underway! OfficialCharts.com are celebrating by looking back at all the Number 1s of 2012 with our very own virtual Advent Calendar!

For Day 11 of our Advent countdown, we say ‘Hello!’ to Rita Ora for a second time with her second Number 1 of the year, R.I.P..

Following hot on the heels of Hot Right Now (if you’ll pardon the pun), her collaboration with DJ Fresh, Rita Ora scored her second Number 1 of the year with R.I.P. FT Tinie Tempah on May 13.

R.I.P. debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, knocking Tulisa’s Young off the top spot. It sold 105,000 copies during its first week on sale, and has sold 443,000 copies to date, making it the 25th biggest selling single of 2012 so far.
