Nicolas Cage's USS Indianapolis battling Chris Pine's Hell or High Water for this week's biggest DVD release

Less than 300 copies separate the two best-selling DVDs and Blu-rays this week that are vying for supremacy on the Official Video Chart.

Since the release of USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage and Hell or High Water on Sunday (January 8), the two movies has swapped places on the chart, with USS Indianapolis currently in the lead. The war film starring Nicolas Cage has a 283 copies lead at today's midweek stage, but the Chris Pine neo-western shouldn't be counted out just yet.

Looking at last week's chart, Joe Wicks 'The Body Coach' was Number 1 at the midweek stage, but was ultimately pipped to the post by Jason Statham's Mechanic: Resurrection. This week, Joe's Lean in 15 falls one spot to Number 3 at the halfway mark, while Jason's blockbuster tumblers three places to Number 4.

New entries and high climbers

It appears that many of you are still wanting to work off your Christmas food binge (us included!), and Scarlett Moffat appears to be the lady to help you do it. Scarlett's Superslim Me is up six placings to Number 5. There are also climbers from Davina McCall whose 30 Day Fat Burn works up a sweat to Number 24 and Brand New You from Lorraine Kelly which rises 29 to Number 21.

Away from fitness, slasher movie Morgan debuts at Number 8, Trainspotting races to Number 10 ahead of the sequel's release, and the biggest climb into the Top 40 looks to be registered by The Night Manager: The Complete Series, up from 109 to Number 34 after four days of sale.

Finally, two new releases could sneak into this week's Top 40. Science fiction film Rupture is at 38 and Mythica: The Iron Crown lands at 40.
