Natalie Imbruglia has released the music video for her latest track Instant Crush.

Watch the Mad Men-inspired visual, which sees the singer play a housewife on the edge, below:

"Joe Stephenson, the director is an immense talent," Imbruglia said. "I fell in love with his treatment. The dark stepford wives vibe, and his reference of Gregory Crewdson’s photography.

"Such beautiful colors and mood. It’s so cinematic and gives the song a whole new dimension."

Instant Crush - a cover of the Daft Punk track features on the singer's new album Male, which is released in the UK on August 21 via Sony Masterworks. The LP is a collection of re-worked songs originally performed by men.

Male marks Imbruglia's first UK release since 2007's Glorious - The Singles 97-07, which reached Number 5 on the Official Albums Chart. View her full Official Chart history here.
