Dutch hip-hop star Mr Probz reclaims the Number 1 spot on the Official Singles Chart after just a week away.

When it comes to the Official Singles Chart, it ain’t over ‘til it’s over, and Mr Probz knows it better than most.

Despite being knocked off Number 1 last week by Calvin Harris’ huge selling Summer, the Dutch hip-hop star has pulled it back and jumped right back on his throne.

His track Waves spends a second non-consecutive week at Number 1, the first track to return to the top spot since Pharrell Williams’ million-selling Happy pulled it off a THIRD time in March!

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com Mr Probz said, “I wanna say thanks to everybody that’s supported the single, everybody who bought it, and made sure it keeps creating waves.”

Mr Probz’s journey back to Number 1 saw him achieve a comfortable lead over Calvin by midweek, and today’s latest sales data sees Waves finish in pole position by over 25,000 copies.

After a week in the sun, then, Calvin HarrisSummer – his 16th Top 10 hit and sixth Number 1 – falls to Number 2.

Former chart-topper Kiesza holds steady at Number 3 with Hideaway, while John Legend’s All Of Me switches places with Sigma’s Nobody To Love to land at Numbers 4 and 5 respectively.

New Entries and High Climbers

There are two brand new entries in today’s Official Singles Chart Top 40. Pitbull has joined forces with new multinational girlband, G.R.L. – formed by Pussycat Dolls founder,Robin Antin –  on Wild Wild Love, which enters the chart at Number 6 today. Meanwhile, British singer Foxes ’ enjoys a fifth Top 40 hit with latest single Holding Onto Heaven, new at Number 14.

Highest climber on today’s chart is Gary Barlow’s Let Me Go, which rockets a massive 52 places up to 22, following his special BBC documentary, When Corden Met Barlow, which aired on Bank Holiday Monday.

It was a disappointing night for the UK at 2014’s Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, but Molly can perhaps take comfort that her climb of 15 places up to Number 33 means Children Of The Universe is the first UK Eurovision entry to chart inside the Top 40 since Blue’s I Can in 2011.

Paloma Faith’s Only Love Can Hurt Like This jumps 13 places to land inside the Top 10 at Number 7, while Pharrell’s Marilyn Monroe advances ten places to Number 30.

Jason Derulo’s Wiggle slips and slides into the Top 40, rising 39 places to settle at Number 34, and Katy Perry’s Birthday makes its first appearance inside the Top 40 this week, blowing out all its candles, making a wish and leaping 24 places to Number 38.
