Mr Probz is on track to regain the Number 1 spot on this week’s Official Singles Chart after just one week in the wilderness.

Dutch hip-hop star, Mr Probz, is on track to once again top the Official Singles Chart this weekend with his debut UK single, Waves.

The track, which first reached the UK Number 1 position two weeks ago and has also entered the Top 10 in Belgium, France and The Netherlands, has been remixed by German DJ and producer Robin Schulz.

According to Official Charts Company data, Waves has sold over 10,000 more copies than Calvin Harris’ Summer so far this week, pushing Calvin into the Number 2 spot on today’s update.

The rest of the Top 5 are standing firm at this midway stage, with Canadian singer/songwriter, Kiesza’s Hideaway (Number 3), dance duo Sigma’s Nobody To Love (4) and US crooner John Legend’s All Of Me (5) all maintaining their previous week’s chart positions.

New Entries and High Climbers

There are two new entries in today’s Official Singles Chart Update Top 40. Pitbull has joined forces with new American/British/Canadian girlband, G.R.L. (formed by Pussycat Dolls founder, Robin Antin) for new track, Wild Wild Love, which enters the chart at Number 6. Meanwhile, British singer Foxes’ latest single, Holding Onto Heaven, debuts at Number 11.

Today’s highest climber is Gary Barlow’s Let Me Go, which jumps a massive 53 places from Number 74 to 21, following his appearance on the BBC documentary, When Cordon Met Barlow, which aired earlier this week.

UK Eurovision hopeful Molly continues her ascent into the Top 40 this week with this year’s song, Children Of The Universe, climbing 13 places since last week to Number 35, and unlikely to slow between now and her performance at this weekend’s Eurovision Song Contest 2014 final on Saturday (May 10) in Copenhagen.
