Minions is charging towards Number 1 on the Official Video Chart

The little yellow creatures are looking at big sales of their movie on DVD this week.

They might be little, but the Minions are looking to score big sales of their latest film on this week's Official Video Chart. 

The Despicable Me spin-off from Universal Pictures is charging towards the top spot to become this week's biggest DVD/Blu-ray, with sales of 214,000 and the mid-week stage. 

The film has quite a job on its hands to beat the first week sales of Despicable Me 2, which opened won 619,000 in 2013. The first movie on DVD/Blu-ray sold 433,000 in its first back back in 2011.

Meanwhile, Disney's Frozen Fever holds at Number 2, and series six of Downton Abbey is new at Number 3. 

Jurassic World currently remains at Number 4 this week, and last week's biggest seller Spy slips to 5. 

Outside the Top 5, Michael McIntyre's latest stand-up comedy DVD Happy & Glorious lands at Number 6, and I Believe In Miracles -  The story of the history-making Nottingham Forest team that won back-to-back European Cups in 1979 and 1980 - starts at 8. 

Other new releases heading for this week's Official Video Chart Top 20 are Family Guy - Season 15 at Number 10, Roger Waters' documentary The Wall at 12, and series seven of Castle at 19.
