Miley Cyrus has announced the title and release date of her new album.

Younger Now serves as the singer's sixth studio album. It will be released on September 29, as revealed on her official website

The record follows 2013's Bangerz album, Miley's first Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. The collection included the chart-topping singles We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball. In 2015, she released Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, but it was eligible to chart as it was available to stream for free on Soundcloud only.

Miley has also been confirmed to perform at this year's MTV VMAs, alongside other performers Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony and Lorde. You might remember, her last VMAs spectacle featured her infamous twerking with Robin Thicke.
