Fifth Harmony once dedicated a single to her, and now Michelle Obama has decided to venture into the music industry herself! She won't be singing though...

Ahead of her keynote appearance at South by Southwest Festival in Texas later today, the FLOTUS has unveiled This Is For My Girls, a charity single featuring female vocalists that she herself enlisted for the project.

Michelle's speech later today will address the song, which is in support of Let Girls Learn, Obama's initiative aiming to increase education rates among young women across the world.

The star-studded cast of eight acts includes Kelly Clarkson, Missy Elliot, Kelly Rowland and Janelle Monáe. Other artists hand-picked by the First Lady to take part are Zendaya, Lea Michelle, Jadagrace and Chloe & Halle.

Written by Diane Warren, who was recently nominated for an Oscar for her work on Lady Gaga's Till It Happens To You, This Is For My Girls was described by the songwriter as "a huge worldwide anthem". Warren told Billboard that the track is "like 'We Are the World' meets 'Lady Marmalade' with these strong voices and strong women."

The track is exclusively available to download on iTunes in the US now.
