All About That Bass single Meghan Trainor ties Clean Bandit's record for longest-running chart-topper of the year.

Meghan Trainor has won a fourth week at Number 1 on this week’s Official Singles Chart with All About That Bass.

The track, which was also this week’s most streamed song with over 1.4 million streams, is now tied with Clean Bandit’s Rather Be as the longest-running chart-topper of the year.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran climbs two places to Number 2 with Thinking Out Loud. The song, which logs its 18th week on the chart, also broke the million streams mark this week with over 1.2 million streams.

House duo Waze & Odyssey are this week's highest new entry at Number 3 with Bump & Grind 2014. The pair’s remix of R Kelly’s R&B classic has officially out-performed the original, which peaked at Number 8 in 1994.

Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’s Bang Bang is at Number 4, and Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off completes the Top 5 at five.

New entries and high climbers

New at Number 9 is Fuse ODG’s Tina. The song, which features R&B singer Angel, marks the London rapper’s fourth UK Top 10 hit, following Antenna, Million Pound Girl and the Sean Paul-assisted Dangerous Love.

Sam Smith’s I’m Not The Only One climbs two places to make a return to the Top 10 at 10, while his former Number 1 Stay With Me rebounds eight places to 15.

Following their performance on The X Factor last week, Maroon 5 move from 60 to 32 with Animals, and Taylor Swift’s Welcome To New York debuts at Number 39. The song serves as the second single from her fifth album 1989, which is released next week (October 27).

Finally, finishing just outside the UK Top 40 at Number 44 is the Independent’s UKIP Calypso. Earlier this week, former Radio 1 DJ Mike Read – who wrote and performs the track – requested the song be withdrawn from sale following complaints of racism.
