Mariah Carey posts video for new single #Beautiful online

Mariah Carey’s new single  #Beautiful looks set to make its Official Singles Chart Top 40 debut this weekend.

Mariah Carey has posted the video for her new single, #Beautiful, online.

The track, which also features Grammy Award-winning singer / songwriter and producer Miguel Pimentel, was realised in the UK on Tuesday (May 7). And, according to today’s Official Charts Company sales data, it could be headed towards the Top 40 this weekend. It is currently at Number 43 on today’s Official Singles Chart sales flash.

The video for #Beautiful was directed by Joseph Khan, who has previously worked on the promo clips for Robbie Williams’ Candy, Eminem and Rihanna’s Love the Way You Lie, and Britney Spears’ Womanizer.

To date, Mariah Carey has had a staggering 38 Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits, including two Number 1s. Her most popular hit remains her 1994 Christmas single, All I want For Christmas Is You, which has entered the Top 40 on seven separate occasions. It peaked at Number 2 in its year of release.
