The race to score this week’s Number 1 album sees pop princesses go head-to-head with the King of rock ‘n’ roll.

Little Mix currently lead the way with third album Get Weird, but Elvis’s If I Can Dream isn’t far behind – only 566 chart sales separate the Top 2 in today’s Update .

If Little Mix can hang on to pole position until Friday, Get Weird, which includes massive Number 1 single Black Magic, will give the band their first chart-topping album.

Really hoping Little Mix can keep the momentum up to get the Number 1 position - Get Weird is a very strong collection and they are one of the most talented girlbands of recent. I am a fan of Ellie Goulding, but Delirium is weaker.

I know that Little Mix is gonna grab the number 1 spot since it's currently in the lead, plus there was a lot of hype for their new album and there are a lot of fans out there that will make sure it reaches the top. They're not gonna just sit back and let it miss the top spot three times in a row. There are a lot of people still buying the album to keep it in the lead.

I hope Little Mix disappear into oblivion. Once they can no longer use Zayn for PR I'm sure they will.

No, he already had his moment in the top. Time to let someone else have the spotlight.

In that case, what about Ellie Goulding with Derilium? Anyone but fricking Little Mix.

But I would still say Elvis over Ellite, as Ellie's more recent songs haven't been very good.

I hope Little Mix holds on to the #1 spot. Even though Get Weird isn't as good as Salute, it's a great pop album. I'm very surprised it's ahead of Ellie Gouldin. Delirium is higher in the iTunes chart.

I hope Ellie can climb to No.1, Delirium is a fantastic album.
Anyone know how many copes are separating Ellie from Elvis?

About 9,000. I expect Elvis to be No.1 again this week.

I think it will too. Little Mix have fallen out of the top 5 with Get Weird while Ellie and Elvis have remained there but they keep going higher and lower than each other everyday, I suppose it's down to the physical sales and streaming.
