Listen to Maroon 5’s new single, Maps

Maps will be the lead single from Maroon 5’s fifth studio album, V.

Maroon 5 have released the audio for Maps, the lead single from the group’s upcoming album, V, which is set for UK release on September 1.

The track was co-written by frontman Adam Levine, alongside Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic, Ella Henderson), Benny Blanco (Jessie J, Britney Spears), Ammar Malik (Kesha, James Blunt) and Noel Zancanella (The Wanted, Demi Lovato), and will be released a week before V, on August 24.

Maroon 5 have scored 12 UK Official Singles Chart Top 40s, with 2012’s Payphone FT Wiz Khalifa becoming the band’s first, and only, Number 1 single to date.

The group have also claimed an impressive four UK Official Albums Chart Top 10s and two Number 1s (2004 debut, Songs About Jane, and 2007’s It Won’t Be Soon Before Long).
