Listen to Luis Fonsi's follow-up to Despacito, called Party Animal

Has the Puerto Rican got another chart smash on his hands?

Luis Fonsi has a mighty job on his hands in following up global smash Despacito, but one month after the song left the top spot on the Official Singles Chart, he's back with his next offering.

And just like Justin Bieber jumped on his song Despacito for its UK release, so has Luis on Party Animal, a track by dancehall star Charly Black.

First released in 2016 under the title Gyal You a Party Animal, Luis has paired up with the dancehall singer for a new version of the song, which is out now via Aftercluv and Polydor Records.

The original single has notched up over 500 million streams globally, so it's safe to say it's been pretty popular in certain countries. Will the addition of Luis help Charly Black crack the UK and turn it into a hit? Watch the video below and see what you think:

Despacito logged 11 weeks at Number 1 on the Official Chart and was recently announced at the UK's Song Of The Summer 2017, racking up 83 million streams and 347,000 downloads during the June to September period alone. View the full Top 40 list here.

The track is also one of the longest-reigning chart toppers in Official Chart history and arrived some 18 years after Ricky Martin’s Livin La Vida Loca – the only other track by a Puerto Rican artist to reach the UK top spot.
