Legend set to keep a tight grip on the Official Video Chart

Plus there are nine new entries heading for this week's Top 40.

British crime thriller Legend look set to keep a tight grip on the Official Video Chart this week, currently out in front on today's Official Chart Update.

The movie, which stars Tom Hardy in a double role as London gangland's notorious twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray, is the fastest-selling DVD/Blu-ray of 2016 so far, and is currently 9,000 sales ahead of its nearest rival.

20th Century Fox's sci-fi sequel Maze Runner – The Scorch Trials is on track to be the highest new entry this week at Number 2, while action thriller Sicario starts at Number 3.

The TV adaptation of children's picture book Stick Man, featuring the voices of Hugh Bonneville and Martin Freeman, is new at Number 4, while Studiocanal's Macbeth, starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, is also new at 5.

Comedy-drama Miss You Already is new at 9, and Inspector Morse-prequel Endeavour – The Complete Third Series starts at 10.

Biographical drama The Walk lands at 11, while the Maze Runner boxset of the first two movies is right behind at 12 and action thriller John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves, breaks into the Top 20, climbing to 14.

Other new entries in the Top 40 are psychological thriller Regression landing at 26, the complete fifth season of Falling Skies at 31, Thunderbirds Are Go Vol 2 at 33 and children's TV show Bing: Surprise Machine at Number 36.
