Lana Del Rey announces new album Lust For Life with a weird and wonderful trailer

Lana Del Rey has announced the title of her new album, called Lust For Life.

The singer shared the news with the world via a trailer on social media. The quirky 2 minute 20 second clip shows the star living inside the middle of the 'H' in the 'Hollywood' sign in Los Angeles. 

"In this town an artist really needs a lot of space when they're trying to create something special," she says. "A place to cultivate a world of their own far away from the real world that's around them."

"When I'm in the middle of making a record, especially now when the world is in the middle such a tumultuous period, I find I really need to take this space for myself far away from real life to consider what my contribution to the world should be in these dark times."

There's no formal release date for Lust For Life yet; Lana herself said the album is "coming soon". But given that she's already released its lead single, Love, we can't be that far off its release, surely? 

Lust For Life is Lana's fourth studio album proper. Her first two records, 2012's Born To Die and and 2014's Ultraviolence, both reached Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. 2015's Honeymoon peaked at Number 2.
